  I had one before that had little tighteners on each side. Over time they got stripped and the seat moved around a lot. This seat sits firmly however, I don't like that fact that I can't close the lid .. the lid just hangs out ! Also it is very very hard. I happen to have a lot of "padding" so it doesn't bother me but it might be quite uncomfortable for some.
