It does add a little bit of weight to the camera but in a good way and I love all the threads for accessories and the offseted shoe mounts.The media could not be loaded.
I wear XL gloves (mechanic/disposable ones) and holding the A6400 without the cage, my ring and pinky finger are hanging off, with this cage I can now grip with my ring finger and have room for my pinky as well if needed. (see pics)
However, a heads up for a few things.
- NFC syncing seems to be blocked and doesn鈥檛 work
- The right dial is a bit awkward to turn (would have to turn it in small increments but adjusting your finger/thumb would solve this. First world problem honestly)
- The silicone grip while great feeling, does add a lot to hold onto, so a heads up to those with smaller hands and/or thicker lenses.
All in all, if I had to, I would definitely buy it again. Been using it for a few days now and overall it鈥檚 great. Love the bulky, sturdy feeling it gives the A6400 now.
