Customer Review

The arm is actually solid, no real complaints. For the price I think its rather perfect. Very sturdy at its furthest extension. If your desk is right up against the wall the arm may sometimes end up pushing against it, just how it functions. I suggest leaving at least 6-8in gap behind to avoid this.

This would be a 5 star review, but the Tilt function could be done better. It is adjustable for sure, but it requires you use a tool (included) to loosen, then adjust and retighten. I understand putting in a spring system for tilt would cost more, but a quick latch system wouldn't be that difficult to incorporate into the design. I'd gladly pay 10 bucks extra for this feature.

My other gripe is that it the mounting to my monitor doesn't work flawlessly with the included mounting solutions. For flat monitors you can use the included screws most likely. For curved monitors there is a bushing system you add to longer screws. Oddly enough the top two worked fine, but then the bottom two were too long for my monitor. So to make it fit properly I had to add several washers to the bottom two mounting screws, which I didn't have on hand at the time and had to go buy. It works without them but when moving it the monitor would lift a bit off the back of the plate which is no good.

My final thought would be depending on your monitor size and weight, you may want to have a 2nd person on hand to help you with the mounting of monitor to the arm. It doesn't go as smooth as the video on here shows haha!

My Final FINAL thoughts are to do with thinking ahead for yourself on elements that aren't involved with this arm its self. IE, does your desk have enough clearance underneath where you want to mount the arm? Mine has a leg that the bracket runs into on the bottom side so I did have to mount it off center by 5in. Not a problem because the arm moves but, if you're an OCD symmetric person...be warned. The cable channels for your power and DP/HDMI cables are actually really great. The bottom section of the arm has a great quick clip system. Top section requires a screw be removed to get it open...why? Why not quick clip em both? The channels are awesome, but consider the extra length this will require for your cable. My current DP cable isn't long enough to go through the channel and still reach my PC so I have it floating.

All in all, great product. Dollars to Value is great, don't regret purchase at all. With the extra knowledge I have listed above, hopefully it helps you decide :)

Stay safe, and keep your stick on the ice!
