It can handle the rough and tumble play dished out by little kids and some adults who act like overgrown kids. It bounces around, crashes, flips over and recovers nicely even from accidental falls down the stairs (which for some reason just kept happening over and over and over again鈥 because they love watching it bounce down the stairs).The media could not be loaded.
The incredible lights on the wheels make using the car when it is dark very fun. There are also two headlights and a rear centre taillight. The kids and even some of the adult men really liked the 鈥渟pider鈥 face design with the blue and red colour theme that continues with the remote control pad in the same colours.
The Gralima spider remote car is great for doing stunts. The usual forward, backward and turning left or right were easy to master. Spinning in either direction was hands down everyone鈥檚 favourite movement. The next favourite was making the car slide/drift side to side but this takes a little more practice. The car can drive on both sides (top and bottom) so if it flips over (or 鈥渁ccidentally鈥 falls down the stairs numerous times) it can continue driving on the side it lands on which is wonderful because it saves you from the need to turn the car right side up manually.
We all watched the video on the seller鈥檚 page but we haven鈥檛 been able to make it stand on two wheels and drive or stand on two wheels and spin. Knowing that it can be done inspires us all to practice more in an attempt to achieve and master this particular stunt.
I particularly appreciate that the car is rechargeable using a USB cable so there are no batteries to contend with which is better for the environment and my pocketbook. The car comes with the necessary USB charging cable plus a small screwdriver and the batteries for the remote (one day someone will create a rechargeable remote).
This spider remote car will not only give adults and children alike many hours of entertainment but will also challenge everyone to attempt more difficult movements and stunts. I highly recommend this Gralima spider remote control car. At a cost of $39.99 (January 2025), you will more than get your money鈥檚 worth from this vehicle.
