  These are rigid/stiffer type stainless steel rulers. The graduations are accurate on the ruler itself but not starting from the end, the the first graduation on the ruler is +.020", measured from the end the first 1 inch graduation measures 1.020" , the 2 inch one measures 2.020"... Nonetheless they are ok for office use but they are not for precision measuring, were the first graduation accurate I would give them a 5, I give them a 4 because they are not very expensive.
