I first had some issues with getting the headphones to work. And the manual was clearly written for an older or different model, since the only solution for no sound from the headphones, was to make sure the mute button was not on. There's only one mute button on these headphones, and it's for the mic. Not the headphones themselves. So that wasn't helpful. I ended up resolving it by restarting my computer. Only to find out the mic was going to be an issue for me. I had to have the mic really close to my mouth, otherwise it couldn't pick up my voice (and I am not a quiet person either). But when it was close to my mouth, it also picked up my breathing. In recordings, it was pretty distracting. Even when I had my mic bent almost perpendicular from my face, it picked up my breathing better than my own voice. And since there's no way to change the settings for it (at least not from what I can tell), I figured it would be better to just return these. Cuz while the headphones are just a little bit better than the headset that came with my desktop, the mic is just so much worse. So it wasn't worth it for me to keep these.
