Customer Review

Received this watch repair kit with all the so-called 'professional' tools intact & undamaged within the black zipper case.

My initial observations of the tools - there are several manufacturing blemishes & nicks on the 3 pin case opener, but the two threaded movement mechanisms work well. There is a little clear plastic case containing four different head sets of three watch case opening pins which all fit into the three collets on the tool, each shaft held lightly by a friction spring. The collet closest to the handle, initially didn't accept the shaft of any of the watch case pins, but I managed to wiggle it's friction spring at bit until it allowed the shaft of the watch case pin.

The blue colored watch bracelet link pin punch tool is a little rickety and does not run true on it's rough, crookedly threaded plastic pathway with lots of slop in its movement (I'm being kind here).

There was an excess amount of untrimmed flash (which I removed) on the cylindrical faces of the two black plastic vertical uprights of the roughly finished plastic watch case holder. The black plastic case holder accepted a watch with a 44.2 mm diameter. It's max. opening size is roughly 48 mm before the butterfly nut disengages the threaded bolt with spring.

All of the other watch tools that came with the kit are acceptable.

I wiped all of the exposed 'stainless steel' components with a TUF-CLOTH to inhibit rust.

Don't forget the Bonus Hammer with one plastic head and one steel head! I'm satisfied with this purchase.
