I dislike returning products that I have already used but with something like these wall mount bracket, only way to find out how they perform or under-perform is to actually mount it and try it but alas, it was quite disappointing.
The articulating arms' metal parts were decent enough, although I doubt they will support the maximum weight claimed by Pipishell. I think the maximum supported weight rating was an arbitrary number pulled out of a hat knowing that anyone with a TV or a monitor nearing the maximum weight ratings will most certainly opt for the next level of support instead of trusting this model to do the job.
The monitor mount bracket does double duty to hold the monitor securely and to act as the tilt mechanism. Whereas the replacement wall mount that I bought to replace this one had a separate hanger/clamp to hold the monitor securely and swivel/tilt mechanism all in one small metal piece. With the Pipishell, I had to use the Allen key to loosen the screw in order to tilt the monitor and tighten it up again when done - truly not well thought out. With the less expensive replacement bracket, I only had to loosen off the bolts and nuts slightly so the articulating arms moves, swivels and tilts effortlessly with better range of tilt (+/- 20 degrees) , and yet stay in place securely when left alone.
