This monitor replaces my old Life Source UA-787, which I used for 20 years before the screen gave out. I've used the Bios for about a year. There are 3 issues when comparing the two monitors. 1) The backlighting of the Bios screen is too bright. I don't see how to reduce the brightness level. 2) The arm cuff is difficult to put on. There's too much velcro and it take two hands to adjust. The old Life Source arm band was easy to put on with one hand. 3) I've run all my life. My heart rate has been 30-40 for many years, which is normal for me. The Bios monitor doesn't give a reading below 40. All it says is "Lo". So I have to use a pulse oximeter, which was unnecessary with the old monitor. I don't have any issues with the BP readings. They seem to be pretty accurate.
