- Reviewed in Canada on January 23, 2025Arguably, the 24-70mm lens category is REALLY BORING. And that applies to this lens as well. BUT BORING IS WHAT MAKES THIS LENS SO GOOD. It does its job and leaves no crumbs. Sharpness is such a big jump from the Sony a7c鈥檚 kit lens and I think it鈥檚 really close to Sony G master 24-70mm ii f2.8 lens. Even though it may lack some sharpness in the corners. It so minor that it doesn鈥檛 justify spending double on a G master. Overall, Great lens for a great price and it holds its value quite well. Next lens I鈥檒l be looking into is Sigma鈥檚 14-24mm. But I鈥檓 mildly broke for now(better than if it was G master).
