  There is no flashing light on it, although the clear window makes it look that way. There is a tiny red indicator light inside, that you can see when you look inside the clear window up close. It just blinks to tell you that the phone is ringing and you should be hearing the ringer.
  It is very loud, so it is good for it's intended purpose but it's really cheaply made. A bright flashing light inside would have brought more value to this product.
