  If you use these, add a plate or cardboard underneath! They were installed properly, levelled, all was good until the next weekend when we got back to the cottage: ants got in it. Good! Well, it made the trap overflow and created a sticky pool that’s hard to clean. I had to scrape the majority then soak in hot water to be able to remove the rest. Not worth the hassle. We’ve put flat pieces of card board under the traps after that but it’s less discrete.
