  This waffle maker is easy and simple to use. The detailed instructions are helpful which includes a few basic waffle recipes for beginners. I enjoy the flipping process, however takes a little more time to warm up.
  
  After setting the timer countdown, the screen goes blank after the 2 minutes. Seems like the battery in the timer was low when I received the product. The battery was required to be replaced. It was also difficult to read the digits on the timer screen standing on angle viewing downwards while the unit is on the counter.
  
  Side note, looking at the promotional video, the timer on the older version had the ability to set the minutes and seconds, while the current model only has the ability to set the set the minutes.
