Considering the cost of these speakers, the sound quality is nothing short of incredible. I have a $4,000 set of KEF speakers in the theatre room and while those certainly sound better, it's actually shocking how small the difference is.
The only issue with these speakers is that the remote is atrocious. Controlling the volume is a chore, so much so that it's easier to just get up and turn the volume knob on the back of the speaker. Unfortunately, they're hooked up to a TV that does not allow any volume control on the TV end of things, so the volume is completely reliant on the remote/knob for these speakers.
If your TV does allow you to control the volume when hooked up to external speakers, then none of this will likely matter - simply adjust the volume on the speakers to somewhere in the middle of the range and then let the TV fine-tune and you'll be good to go. I have a cheaper pair of Edifier speakers hooked up to another TV and that combination works great as the TV does indeed control the volume level. I put up with it on this particular setup as these speakers sound considerably better than the cheaper Edifier ones.
