  Great idea l. We used one for our garbage can. I did have to use super glue to glue it down. After a couple days it kept popping off. The latch is a little tricky if you don’t have nails. It’s pretty small piece of plastic you push forward. I would buy them again if needed they did the job, but consider that you will need to use super glue to really get them to stick.
