- Reviewed in Canada on May 12, 2023After several unsuccessful purchases, this is the first product I've found to successfully stick (& keep stuck!) carpet to carpet!!
I rent & I have pets, so I like to use area rugs & runners to cover the actual carpet to avoid any stains or damage to the floors/carpets. I also have a dog who likes to rub her face on the rugs after eating, lol 🤷🏼♀️ Previously I had more space, so this didn't cause any issues. But in my new, very small place with very short carpet, the rugs were constantly getting moved & bunching up and I was tripping over them several times a day.
I tried numerous types of tapes, glues, velcro, non skid carpet stickies, you name it. But NOTHING seemed to work.... until I got this stuff!! It has been over a month now & my rugs haven't budged! Even when my friend's extra rambunctious doggo comes to visit (& chases the cats...) this tape has held strong & kept everything in place.
The only downside was that I had to use quite a bit to make sure they stayed put, leading to me having to repurchase in order to complete the job. But depending on your rug shape & the surface you need it to stick to, the usage amounts probably vary widely (& I may have used more than "just enough" to nake sure that those rugs didn't budge this time around!)
I would recommend this product for difficult situations & people who have already tried & failed using other methods! 👍👍
** I can't really comment on the ease of removal, as I haven't tried yet.
