  I am a big fan of writing tablets and have a few at home. Based on my observation:
  
  - this tablet claims to be 16 inches but it has the same dimension as my 15" writing tablets
  - can be used for messages, scrap paper, or kids' drawings.. will save lots of paper
  - strokes are pressure sensitive
  - the pencil is kind of too thin and not easy to grip
  - the pencil is hard to put in / take out of the pencil slot
  - doesn't have a spare battery
  
  Overall, it's still a good writing tablet
