- Reviewed in Canada on July 2, 2025I purchased this telephone mainly for its speakerphone feature as I have always wanted the ability for more than one person to share a conversation over the telephone.
The handset of this Uvital telephone is satisfyingly heavy. I do not like handsets which are light as they are more easily dropped onto the floor if the telephone is moved around the room. The base of this telephone is larger than that of most other telephones and can be placed on a flat surface (the telephone line connecting cord is included) or on a wall telephone jack (a shorter telephone line connecting cord is not included).
There is the ability to store nine telephone numbers in the memory of the telephone. The telephone's ringer volume has three settings: off, low and high. The handset volume has three volume settings: low, medium and high. The speakerphone volume is fairly high but its volume allows for those who are hard of hearing to enjoy telephone conversations that those who are not hard of hearing enjoy.
All the buttons on the telephone are easy to push and do not stick in the pressed down position.
Some of the features of this telephone are intended for those who have specific needs but all features can be used and enjoyed by everyone.
