  Very high quality heavy metal construction with a stable base. This thing is a tank and can hold up my 13 inch iPad Pro with no problems at all.
  
  I used to use a popular bendable arm from a competitor that clamped to your table / desk directly. It was great until all of them inevitably broke after a year or so. Zero chance of that happening with this beast. This is the second one I’ve owned and I have no regrets. Highly recommend.
