  I bought this as a drop in upgrade for my gaming PC. The cpu itself is excellent--if you're running a compatible AM4 motherboard and want to extend it's life as long as possible, this is a great CPU, so long as you're not running productivity workloads.
  
  The purchasing process was... less so. The first CPU I bought arrived in a sealed box with bent pins, making it unusable. I returned the CPU via mail and waited for nearly a month without a response, until I finally reached out directly. Only then was I shipped out a new CPU, which did, thankfully, arrive intact.
