  The speakers work great as a replacement for blown stock speakers on my daughter's Beetle, but word to the wise don't bother with the wire/connectors supplied just make your own connectors. I thought I had a bad speaker, but as it turned out the wire connectors was bad. Used new wire and connectors and problem fixed. They sound ok, like I said they're not for shows but work well for the price.
