Customer Review

I pumped up this new Roho cushion yesterday before having to go out for Doctors appointment. I own two wheelchairs, a manual non-motorized unit and I just recently purchased through 鶹, an electric motorized model. I purchased Roho air cushion for the new electric model while my older non-motorized chair has a quality Invacare foam padded cushion.

The Invacare memory foam cushion cost me about $50.00 Canadian, a third of the cost. While the Roho in Canadian funds cost me $150.00 to buy. After about 2 to 3 hours in the wheelchair the comfort of the Roho was absolutely no better than the Invacare cushion.
I do not intend to return the Roho back to 鶹 but in all honesty, knowing what I now know, I wouldn't be buying the Roho again. A good quality foam cushion for around $75.00 would be just as comfortable as the Roho. However please keep in mind that I have a boney butt with hardly any natural padding left thanks to my weightloss from cancer, so that in itself plays a major role in the comfort factor.

Now please don't get me wrong, the Roho is a superior cushion. It comes with a manual hand pump and a quality water/stainless seat cover. It's sort of an apples to oranges comparison between the two but if I had to make the purchase over again, I'd go for a good quality memory foam cushion and save my money.
