People seem to take for granted super powers and no one seem to question if we are alone in the universe in most other superhero movies. This movie portrays very well the world we live in and the natural tendency of people to fear what they don't understand. If I had Superman's powers and background, I think I would have acted exactly like Clark did, just to have some freedom and live my own life! Finally also we get to see what it would mean to have battles that truly reflect super-strength and super-speed! Buildings shatter, windows break, sonic boom resonate everywhere!!! This is just so cool! This movie is a nice reintroduction of Superman and lays down very interesting paths that we will most likely discover in the sequel. I was at first against a reboot, but this new take's angle is different enough and set in a world so relevant to us that I'm actually curious to see where this franchise will now go!Report PermalinkHelpful
