However, there is a little cork to this machine, that if you do not realize it, you might think the machine has failed. If you do not keep it clean in the grinding burs and the discharge port, it will plug up. When it does, the motor when it's grinding will start to slow down and you'll hear it stalling. That's the first indicator that she's plugged up. Even the tech support for Breville did not give me this issue as a problem when we were troubleshooting what was going on with my coffee maker. I ended up sending two back within the first 3 months because of this issue. Unfortunately there's nothing wrong with machines. When I discovered this blockage, I've never had an issue since. You also have to keep the stainless steel wheel that rotates for shutting down the grinding discharge Port into the coffee filter . If it comes up it leaks a lot. I've now had one of these machines since 2013 and never have regretted making the purchase. Excellent coffee! And it's always a favorite with my guests. I highly recommend this coffee maker to anybody who enjoys great coffee and likes a machine that you can set up for each individual type of coffee bean that you enjoy. Side note, the oilier the coffee bean, the more maintenance. Well worth it!The media could not be loaded.
