When I originally looked at the product, I thought it was a cordless brace with a rechargeable battery pack, but unfortunately, that wasn鈥檛 the case. It requires to be plugged into the wall in order to function.

The brace is made of a soft fabric/neoprene material that has a bit of stretch. It measures approx. 16鈥 long and the straps measure 24鈥 (top), 26鈥 (2nd), 25鈥 (3rd) & 23.5鈥 (bottom). The long straps can fit a wider thigh area, up to 23鈥 in circumference. I was able to strap it to my leg comfortably.

Plugging in the adapter and the power LED starts to flash. A quick press powers on the device and defaults to a set massage mode, medium heat and the shortest timer option. There are 5 vibration modes + Off, 3 heat settings and 3 timer options.

There is a good amount of vibrations from the motors. There are 4 motors positioned on the outer edges of your knee, 2 on bottom and 2 or top. The motors don鈥檛 vibrate on the knee (above and below it) so it shouldn鈥檛 cause any discomfort vibrating on bone. Personally, I felt they were a bit too far away from my knee to really feel it, but maybe that was the purpose.

I turned on the heating function and used my thermal camera and found the heat option provides heat levels with a peak of 61.5掳C on Low, 69.2掳C on Medium & 72.5掳C on High. It also found that the heating pad measures approx. 11鈥 x 6鈥 in size at the center of the brace. The thermal camera also showed that the heating elements were a bit inconsistent as the ones higher up on the leg ran a bit cooler with gaps.

Walking around with the brace on while plugged it is limited, but with it unplugged, I found it was comfortable and did seem to hold its position without slipping off.

Overall, the brace provides decent support when used just as a brace, but if you want to use the heat or massage functions, you will need to be plugged in to a wall outlet, so it will limit your mobility.

At the time of this review, the brace was priced at $44.98.
