- Reviewed in Canada on December 27, 2024I was looking for a warm-mist humidifier that's easy to clean and this looked like the perfect one and I had really high hopes after trying 2-3 other humidifiers.
It looked great and is easy to use. HOWEVER, not only did it not do its job it also seems to pose fire/health hazard. It barely increased the humidity level of a small bedroom even after I had it on fast mode for 4 hours. It also made unusually loud guggling sounds every few minutes.
I tested this product for 3 nights in a row really hoping that it works, but it didn't. What really got me concerned is that the 'waterless' alert didn't work. I woke up to strange popping sound from this product and when I opened it, I found that the stainless steel water basin had burnt and it kept going without any water in it. It also left permanent residue at the bottom and brown, rusty water. Had I not turned it off on time, it could've caused fire.
I'm really sad and disappointed that I'll now have to return this and continue my endless search for a functioning warm-mist humidifier.
