- Reviewed in Canada on August 31, 2024First of all, the battery life on these 2ways is incredible. Unbelievable how much use I can get before I even need to think of charging them. The talk button is on the front, which took a while for me to get used to. It is a bit inconvenient, and I suspect many out there won't be able to adapt like I was forced to. The one major problem that I have with these is when they get hot...like being in direct sunlight for a little while, or when working outside in the summer heat. The audio fails to work properly. I have to turn the volume all the way up to hear my colleague. They return to normal use once they've been out of the sun and cooled. Range is good. What many don't realize is with the advent of more and more cellphones, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, interference has substantially increased, which inhibits reception on all 2way radios. What used to work fine 20 years ago at a 2 mile/ 5km range now must be a 50 mile/ 90 km range for the same overall reception.
