Each battery is charged faster than on other chargers.
Each battery is charged individually, and the process is nicely indicated on the LCD screen.
Lithium AAA batteries also have a blinking green LED, so you can be sure the "lithium" battery is getting charged in that slot.
The slots have a better design—it is easy to insert AA and especially AAA batteries even with one hand; they are not angled like on the older EBL chargers.
USB-C will be a common standard in 2025. It is easy to find a 2A 5V USB-C charger, and it works even with USB-A to USB-C cords, as PD is not required for this device.
