  I give this to my dog, on the advice of the veterinary cardiologist, as my dog has nutritionally mediated dilated cardiomyopathy (in other words, her heart is damaged from eating grain free food). With the help of this taurine and a change in diet, her prognosis of three months to live (three years ago) has changed. Her heart is almost back to normal! I am grateful for this quality product.
