  I bought this to replace a previous portable CD player that I attach to a speaker to listen to low volume music while going to sleep.
  
  This machine is intermittently (but frequently) very noisy, much noisier than my old player. In fact, at times it is hard to hear the music. It also makes a loud buzzing noise about 15 seconds or so after the CD is completed, to the extent that is can wake me up.
  
  I reported this to �鶹�� some time ago, and was told that the item could not be returned. I asked where that was indicated, and it turned out that that warning was only on the app. I ordered from the web site, so had no idea.
  
  The young lady said that the only thing that she could do was send a replacement. I agreed to that, hoping that the defective machine was an exception. I received the second CD player, and it turned out to have the same problems. And in fact, it has another one - at times I have to press play several times to start the CD.
  
  Apparently I have no recourse, but I would NOT recommend buying this CD player- I think it is crap. And I definitely will not be buying electronics from �鶹�� in the future.
