  I thought the grip would be made of a material like most canes are these days, foam or gel, but it is made from a hard molded material. With the unusual shape of the handle, I won't even be able to find a pre-made foam tube to slip over it. If you have arthritic hands it would be hard use. Too bad because otherwise it's fine.
