  The rest+ seems to have replaced the regular hatch so I ended up getting this for my newborn daughter (my son has the original hatch).
  
  Likes:
  - seems a tad better quality than the original. The sound when turned off fades rather than just stops. The ring seems more durable as well.
  - the clock is useful if you don’t already have a type of bedside clock (I have a nest hub so usually my clock is off). It’s worth noting that even at the lowest brightness, it still is pretty bright so if you don’t use the light during sleep like I do, if your babe is next to this, it will be bright!
  - the sound quality is unmatched. I’ve bought cheaper sound machines for my parents house and I think I got spoiled by how flawless the hatch sounds!
  
  Dislikes:
  - I prefer how the original nest sets up in the app. For some reason this has more steps and the favourites aren’t laid out quite as nice.
