  Putting both channels into 4ohm tactile transducers, the board pulls 0.8a @ 5v, for a total of 4w from a regulated supply. This is at line in voltage, with a tone of 1000hz. Please put a filtering cap across your 5v supply, in parallel. Electrolytic, barely matters about the capacitance. I'm using a 100uf rated for 12v/ Prevents distortion at high volume levels. This board DOES prefer higher input voltages. Line out @ standard 2.0v peak 2 peak works much better than your typical 3.5mm output from a phone that pushes 2.2v peak to peak.
