  The instructions on how to switch from setting alarm 1 (no light) to setting alarm 2 (w/light) are wrong. If you manage to get it set, it will be pretty much by luck—I don’t know how I set mine lol: total accident.
  
  Setting alarm 1 is easy as well as all other settings. The second alarm with wake-up light is defaulted to 7:30 am…so if that’s what you’re looking to set for, you’re good to go. Otherwise get ready to feel like this lamp is purposely trolling you. As I said, the instructions for alarm 2 are a lie.
  
  I fought with this thing because I adore the lamp itself—I find it bright, responsive, and aesthetically pleasing. It doesn’t feel “expensive” but it doesn’t feel like the piece of 3rd world manufacturing mediocrity it really is. It should be $30, no more. And it should work.
  
  If there was a trustworthy brand that made a design like this I’d pay extra for it. Sadly, I don’t see one.
  
  So…you should pass. Save them pennies.
