  this is the second one we have purchased for the same bed ... because Mom liked it so much on the one side. She mainly uses it as a grab-bar to roll over or reposition herself in the bed. She thought it would be great to have one on the other side for the same reason as there was nothing on that side of the bed to assist.
  Nice product; very sturdy and stable IF installed the way the instructions say. We did :)
