  Works great. Just like plugging it in with a wired connection for Carplay or Android Auto. The only criticism I have is that once I park the car and go inside my house I will occasionally reconnect to the smartbox while inside my house unintentionally if ai get too close to the car. I supose this is more of an issue with the vehicle's usb port staying active after parking than an issue with the smart box itself. Still it is a good thing to keep in mind when making a purchase.
