The good: - They are inexpensive - The container is made with strong plastic and is durable. - The lid holds firmly and is completely watertight. It will hold its content securely.
The bad: - The lid's ribbed rim is too narrow and made to poor tolerances: it barely sticks out of the canister's exterior diameter and it is eccentric (sticks out more on one side than the other).
- Since there's almost nothing to grip onto, the lid is very hard to pry open even if you have tough fingernails.
- The plastic used to make these is too stiff and it's not translucent enough to see the contents of the bottle.
Conclusion: It gets the job done but it leaves one longing for the original 35mm film bottles which had all of its qualities and NONE of its faults. I would prefer paying more and getting a better quality product. Overall I am disappointed and I will not be buying these in the future. In fact, if I find better quality ones, these ones are going to the recycling bin.
