  Well packaged, arrived with extra battery too. Tire depth gauge is easy to use and I really like the ability to get tread depth measurements in different scales. 1/32 being the traditional north american measurement is available but since this gauge makes metric easily available I think that may be more accurate. So the instrument works well and the packaging provides a secure place to store it when not in use as it came with a plastic tray that fits perfectly and slides right back in the box!
