- Reviewed in Canada on September 26, 2020Well priced, delivered quickly, solid construction. I鈥檓 very pleased with this switcher. I recently installed an inverter in my RV to enable me to run some 120v items in the RV when on the road or not plugged into shore power. When switching on the inverter, I had to open the dinette seat to get access to and unplug or turn off the RV converter/charger (they should not run together). With this switcher I have a 6 volt wall wort adapter that is plugged into a spare outlet on my inverter to trigger this switcher. When I turn on the inverter (via its wall mounted control), this switcher senses the inverter power coming on , via the adapter, and automatically turns off the converter/charger unit. I have the converter / charger plugged into the 鈥渘ormally on鈥 outlet. When I switch the inverter back off, the voltage from the adapter drops and this switcher turns the converter/charger back on. Fantastic, and easy to do. Except for the triggering input, this device is plug and play and does both 鈥渘ormally off鈥 and 鈥渘ormally on鈥 circuits. I was going to built one myself but this Unit did the trick and for a reasonable price. This makes managing these two 120v devices a one button operation.The media could not be loaded.
