  This worked as I had hoped. It's not good for thick branches, prob 1/2 inch at the most, but works great for cutting down tall flowers and trimming very small shrubs. The grass clipper works well. I find the large battery operated ones too heavy and unwieldy. The only downside is you have to get right down on the ground. It charges quickly. I love it so far.
