  I acquired this bass module to integrate it with my Bose TV Speaker, and besides requiring a hardwired connection, it contributes nothing to your setup. In fact, it diverts the low frequencies from the soundbar, forcing you to turn the volume quite high to barely notice any effect. There is no way to connect it with the app using the mentioned setup, so there's no way to fully get its potential. According to other reviews, it seems to work decently with other soundbars but performs terribly with the Bose TV Speaker. You'd be better off just using the TV Speaker without the bass module.
