It works, but when 2 displays are attached to the one splitter, the screens are dimmer. I used this in my classroom so I could have a dual monitor setup and mirror my 2nd screen to the projector. It worked well enough to get the job done, but my 2nd monitor was dim. As soon as I unplugged the 2nd VGA cable, the monitor screen immediately went to full brightness. This occurred regardless of whether the projector was powered on.
I'm not sure if this is a limitation of the product or just a technological limitation of passively splitting a VGA signal. Depending on your needs, it may work well. For a more permanent setup, I'd look for something that gives better brightness.
