  I purchased this product primarily because it says in the description that the spiky balls are SOFT. They are not- they are rock hard and not what I wanted. I can still make use of them, just not in the way I wanted. The roller is nice and easy to use. It also says in the description there is no smell...that is not the case. When I first received the product the chemical smell was overpowering and clung to my hands even after I washed them! A couple of months later the smell has subsided a bit, but is still there.
