  Very disappointed with this product. I have been trying to work with this griddle since February of 2024 - just trying to make Saturday morning pancakes for my family. The temperature settings are completely inaccurate and the variation is extreme. The griddle is either heated to over 400 degrees (as measured by temperature probe on the surface) or 200 degrees with the dial set at 250. When it heats, it soars way above the set temperature and then plummets to well below. It takes constant adjustment and surface temperature measurements to try to maintain a consistent temperature that virtually always results in burned pancakes. Definite hotspots are difficult to work around.
  
  I am putting this in the trash after my most recent futile attempt.
  
  This is a poor product that I would never purchase again.
