  This is a very cute sharpener. I think that the design is almost perfect. however, when it is first used, the blade is almost too sharp and can damage the lead easily so you need to be careful. Then the blade dulls a little bit and it becomes a perfect sharpener ¡­ then it dulls a little more and a little more and eventually does a poor job of sharpening the lead. These stages of dulling occurs within the first month of using it.
  Too bad, I really love the design. It just doesn¡¯t last long enough to be worth the money. I wish that it had a replaceable blade design - but it doesn¡¯t. Sigh¡­ the search for a great portable sharpener continues.
