The day after I received it, I purchased a bbq cover to try and keep it nice and clean. Well that did not help. Rust is already coming out. 1 strip on the right hand side of the burner box and then on the left side of the cover. This unit has been covered basically since I got it. The unit is under my covered porched so it has never seen rain. For the price I payed, I really didn鈥檛 expect it to start rusting this fast. So begs the question is this a real 鈥渂lackstone鈥. I really love the griddle, works great. The original purchase was intended to take with us when we go camping and loved it so much that i have been shopping for a bigger one to keep at the house. But now noticing this today have doubts if I will buy another blackstone.
