- Reviewed in Canada on October 22, 2024I picked up this unit a few weeks ago and I must say, I am quite impressed with the quality of the footage, the features and the build quality of the camera itself (actually two cameras - one front and one rear). It comes with everything you need to install it, including a trim tool to help you route the cables so they are properly hidden, which is a nice touch.
I tested the camera prior to running the cables through the interior trim of my vehicle and found the menu easy to navigate and the Wi-Fi set up straight forward. I love that I can watch it live on my phone or download videos and pictures from the camera to my phone for later viewing or to share with friends and family. Gone are the days of removing the MicroSD card, putting it into an adapter and then viewing the files on my computer. It's so convenient.
The features this camera has compared to the price I paid is another thing that really stands out. Only a few short years ago, a camera with this feature set (and lower quality image resolution) would have cost more than double what I paid for this one. It's well worth the money and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for their first dash camera, or for those who want to upgrade from an older unit.
