  Very attractive-looking radio/CD player. The CD player at the top is particularly compactly designed. But it would not turn on even with a set of brand-new out-of-the-package C batteries. And would not turn on plugged into a working AC/DC outlet. So something must have happened to the switch in-factory or in-transit. None of the turn-ons worked---not for the AM/FM radio or for the CD player. Maybe a double-box for shipping would be a good idea.
