- Reviewed in Canada on June 1, 2024I bought these mostly to be able to find our tv/firestick remotes. If you have kids, you know.
With the provided sticky tabs and keyring, its working well. I also wrapped in tape to prevent kid from picking off the sticky tab just while fidgeting.
Also added ones to my wallet and keys. Cuz I lose things too.
Also added some to my kid. No really :) I added one to his backpack. And I've even given him one to keep in his pocket when he goes out to play. He won't come when I call, but when I beep him he comes straight in with no complaining. #winning. (It went through the laundry once and still works perfectly!)
It doesn't have too much range though so it won't work if he at the park or at his friends house.
Once I even brought the remote with me to an event and let my kid wander a bit. Beeped him when I lost him in the crowd and he came straight back. (Obviously I wouldn't trust this for small kiddos, or big/busy public places or a replacement for proper supervision. But my kid is a bit older and I don't need to hover while giving him a chance to practice being autonomous.)
Only problem is we have 2 set of these, so when I push a button, both tags of that colour will beep. Can make things a bit harder to track down, but not a huge deal.
