  I bought the Genius 1 to help maintain the 62ah, Enhanced Flooded Battery (EFB) in my new 2025 Subaru Crosstrek. The vehicle had been sitting for two weeks and the battery voltage reading was 12.4 volts. I hooked up the Genius 1 and the LED was pulsing RED, indicating charge mode. I figured it would take 6 hours or so to charge up the battery and then the LED would switch to pulsing Green , maintain mode.
  After about 13 hours of charging the LED was still pulsing Red. I thought that at this point it should have switch to the pulsing Green LED , maintain mode. Was my battery being overcharged ?
  It took about 14 hours for the LED to change from Red to Green. I was relieved to see that it finally switch to the maintain mode. I then unplugged the charger and I let the battery rest for a hour and then checked the voltage.
  It was reading 12.8 volts. So the battery voltage went from 12.4 volts to 12.8 volts. I wrote this review so that others may have an idea of how long it takes the charger to go from charge mode to the maintain mode.
